Let's start at the beginning...
My first love
I first felt the subtle pull toward energy work in my early 20s—though I had no name for it at the time. It was simply a quiet knowing, a curiosity stirring within. A few years later, I came across others who spoke of this same current of life force, calling it Prana or Chi. Discovering that others felt it too was deeply validating and opened the door to a more intentional exploration.
I went on to complete Reiki Level 1 and 2 certifications, and eventually the Master level. These attunements provided a beautiful structure and symbolic language that helped me deepen my connection to energy, offering both confidence and clarity in my practice.
In time, this path brought me full circle—right back to intuition. Through lived experience, I’ve come to believe that attunement to Reiki or any formal modality is not required to access the healing, mood-shifting power of energy medicine. If you’re willing to turn inward, listen closely, and attune to your own Prana or Chi, this abundant life force is always available to you. Reiki can certainly enhance the experience—but it’s not the only way.
Because of this, I love weaving “energy play” into much of what I offer. Whether it's subtle or more direct, it’s always an invitation to reconnect with the magic that already lives within you.
Yoga captured my heart from the very first class. I remember feeling a deep sense of alignment—body, mind, and soul—and I knew almost instantly that this practice would become a lifelong companion. It wasn’t long before I felt the call to dive deeper and share this work with others.
I’ve been practicing since 2009 and completed my first teacher training in 2013. Since then, yoga has remained a steady thread through all seasons of my life and work. What’s been lighting me up most in recent years is weaving the wisdom of cyclical living into my classes—honoring the natural rhythms that move through us and around us.
I draw inspiration from the phases of the moon, the menstrual cycle, and the seasons, and explore how each one influences our energy, emotions, and inner landscape. These themes are gently woven into my classes to support self-awareness, connection, and flow—offering a deeper layer to the physical practice.
While I’ve spent several years teaching Prenatal, Couples, and Baby & Me Yoga (since 2018), my current offerings reflect this evolution into energetically attuned, soul-nourishing practices rooted in nature’s rhythms.
Yoga Teacher Trainings:
• 200hr Holistic Yoga Teacher Training (2013)
• 85hr Prenatal, Couples & Baby & Me Yoga (2018)
• 15hr Physio Yoga for the Pelvic Floor (2019)
Whether you're moving through a new season or simply seeking more alignment in your life, my classes are an invitation to return to yourself—again and again—with compassion and curiosity.
My own journey into motherhood is what first sparked my passion for this work. Becoming pregnant in 2014 opened a doorway I never expected—one that invited me to confront my fears, expand my capacity, and ultimately fall in love with the birth process as a sacred rite of passage.
I immersed myself in learning—watching birth videos, attending workshops, and connecting with doulas and educators. That first birth changed everything. It showed me that birth isn't something to be feared—it’s an opportunity to transcend our perceived limitations and step into a place of deep power and surrender.
By the time I became pregnant with my second child in 2018, I felt called to deepen my understanding. I had already been teaching yoga for several years, and chose to complete specialized training in Prenatal, Couples, and Baby & Me Yoga. This helped me safely guide others during pregnancy and postpartum. I also completed DONA International Doula training and studied yoga for the pelvic floor, initially as a complement to my yoga offerings—but these teachings ultimately inspired me to step into birth work and support families directly.
While I no longer work as a birth doula, this chapter remains a meaningful part of my story. I continue to offer prenatal and baby & me yoga periodically, and the wisdom I’ve gained through both personal experience and professional training continues to inform my work in powerful ways.
What birth taught me—perhaps more than anything—is that strength and softness are not opposites. They are partners. And when we meet our experiences with both, we access something truly transformational.
My Philosophy
I believe that the right support can make a profound difference—whether on the mat, during birth, or in everyday life. Respect, presence, and compassion can transform how we move through challenges and celebrations alike.
Yoga, in particular, is a beautiful tool for preparation and integration. Breathwork, mindful movement, and inner listening help us feel more connected to our bodies and more grounded in times of transition. This is especially true during pregnancy, postpartum, and other threshold moments of life.
Whether you're journeying through one of these seasons or exploring the rhythms of your inner world, I’m here to offer practices that honour your wholeness—rooted in deep respect, lived wisdom, and a heartfelt belief in your innate power.
